With so many talented individuals heading to France this summer, who should we really be looking out for in some of the bigger games?
Here’s our countdown of the FIVE youngsters that can use Euro 2016 to truly shine…
Marcus Rashford
Marcus Rashford has burst onto the Premier League scene this season and had firmly cemented himself in Louis van Gaals Manchester United team. He’s given an excellent account of himself too, showing excellent pace, control and shooting as he tries to make himself England’s number one. It’ll be a struggle for him to break into the England squad though, but he may edge in ahead of Daniel Sturridge.
Renato Sanches
Another youngster who is attracting big attention in his homeland is Renato Sanches, who recently earned himself a move to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich. The teenage sensation has dazzled for Benfica this season and is widely regarded as one of the best young players on the planet. Many will be watching this man next month.
Alen Halilovic
This Croatian youngster, whose parent club is Barcelona, has had an excellent season on-loan at Sporting Gijon. He’s played well in excess of 35 games and has contributed five goals in the process. He’s considered one for the future at the Nou Camp, but his flair in the middle of the park makes him one of the most exciting players heading to the EUROs. Alongside Luka Modric, they could run the show.

Kingsley Coman
Eight major trophies at 19-years-old is impressive stuff, and this is one of the reasons Bayern Munich forward Kinglsey Coman is regarded as one of the most exciting players in the game right now. He’s frighteningly quick and his ability to use both feet is a massive positive – he prefers cutting in from the wing using his pace to beat opponents. Traditionally a winger, Coman can also play up front and he gives France massive flexibility when it comes to picking the squad. A great team player at only 19 – keep an eye out.

Breel Embolo
Breel Embolo has really got tongues wagging back in Switzerland over the past couple of years. He’s very much their icon right now, and he goes into EURO 2016 with some considerable expectation on his shoulders, even though he is only 19. He’s big, strong and fast, and has pretty much everything to be a top striker. For Embolo, the tournament could be a chance to earn a transfer to a top club in Europe.
