Many supporters of the Manchester side slammed the United boss for failing to see the 5 foot 3 prospect’s potential, and urged him to “wake up”.
Some Red Devils fans revealed Gomes is already far better than the out-of-form Jesse Lingard, and clamoured for the teenager to replace the England international in the team.
